How many weeks would it take to notice a massive difference in your body doing yoga 2 times a week?

What should I eat too to help the progress?I need to lose 20 pounds.
Answer:
the diet will always ultimately determine the shape/size of the body while exercise only provides the neccessary stimulus to the muscles and CNS.below is a typical mean of a competitive male athlete1 cup of brown rice, or medium sized baked potato, or 1 cup of oatmeal
2 cups of green beans, broccoli or any other desired vegetable
6-8 ounces of chicken, turkey, or lean fish
Yoga wont help you loose weight. It will help you relax and be more flexible. To trim your body you need to loose fat. To loose fat you have to do cardio, jogging, walking, biking, swimming etc. Plus you need to work out more than twice a week. Aim for 30-45 min 3-4 times a week. You have to change your diet too. Cut out simple sugars like candy, soda (even diet) white bread) and eat lean protein (chicken, fish, pork) and lots of fruit and veggies. Carbs are ok as long as they are complex carbs like whole grains. Try Weight Watchers, it is the best diet plan for LONG TERM weight loss. There is no magic. Just have to get off your butt and do it.
2 times a week? sorry, it takes a little more than that (assuming that your already 20lbs overweight) Eat real food, not fried food all the time. Quit drinking coke and other crap like that, substitute them all with water. Cut out sugar and sub in more grill chicken and turkey. Do cardio (running or whatever your comfortable with) about 4-5 times a week for about 30min each session. People know what they need to do it is just that they are really lazy and just wont simply do it. Depending how old you are is also something that will play into this. If your 35+ it's going to be harder than if your 21 or something like that.
