How many pounds should I lose a week or in two weeks while working out and eating healthy?

I want to lose weight but I want to do it the right healthy way, so I can keep it off, I have lost 3 pounds in three weeks so far.
Answer:
3 to 5
2lbs per week sounds like a safe deal.
if you want to lose weight healthily, you should lose about 3 lbs a week
You're on the right track... you shouldn't lose more than 1-2 pounds a week.
its really not safe to lose more then 2-3 pounds a week. 1-2 is typical.since you're doing so well so far, check out www.sparkpeople.com to give yourself a little boost. its free, the people are so helpful and its just fun and addictive
about 7,5,3 it depends!
a lot depends on your current size and activity level.losing slower will probably help keep it off as long as you keep at it...crash dieters mostly gain back what they lost and more...i would say keep doing what you are doing as long as it is working and you feel good.
If you plan on lifting weights then forget about losing any weight. When you work out you actually gain weight because muscle weighs more then fat. But also Im talking about alot of liftiting for strenght, if your just planning on incoperating a little set or two in your system its fine. Instead of eating breakfast, lunch and dinner, eat five but smaller portion meals throughout the day. Doing that will speed up your metabolism and you will lose weight faster.
That sounds great! Typically for healthy weight loss, professionals say that a pound per week is good. Usually this is easier to keep off and maintain your goal weight in the end -- instead of the icky crash diets or diet pills. Good job! Keep it up!!
not to burst your bubble but thats really not all that much, i'd shoot for at least 2 a week, unless of course your really skinny already, if you only have 10 to spare then thats a lot... think of it this way... a pound of fat is 3500 calories... you need to lower your calories, but not too much, eating the right things a day, and workout... intake - output = gain or loss
