How much to run?

I want to lose 1 pound from running... how much time%26#92; distance would i have to run?
Answer:
1 lb of fat= 3500 calories. So if you want to loose 1 lb by just running once, go to caloriesperhour.com to the activity calculator to find out how long you would need to do that. However, thats a lot of cals. so you could probably to that over a course of time... don't forget about your BMR too though, which is what your body burns naturally without doing anything. that can be found on caloriesperhour.com too i believe. Good luck!
do 30 minutes 3x a week at a moderate pace and you will see results. just go by time...don't worry about distance.
3.2 miles under 35 minutes
for one pound i have no idea. I ran 8 miles for a week and lost 4 pounds.
No one can answer this question without more information. Your personal results are totally dependent upon your metabolism, diet, and other factors. Personally I ran 18 miles per day for several years, this I do not recommend to anyone due to the fact that you can and will cause permanent damage to feet, ankles, knees, and hips. Most doctors normally recommend not more than a mile every other day when exercising for fitness. Furthermore, you must understand that dependent on all the factors involved, you may actually gain weight instead of losing weight when you run for exercise.
don't eat breakfast, 1 pound? lol Running isn't Good for losing weight, the calories spent doing it are easily recovered through eating a Fig newton. It's great for your cardiovascular system though.
