How much fat?

is ok to have a day when you're eating between 1200-1500 calories a day, doing cardio for 30mins a day 6 days a week and trying to lose between 1-2 pounds per week?

I think it is OK. It may be better to stretch your cardio out to 45 minutes... I have heard ot is better for your metabolism.Also, the calorie intake of between 1200 and 1500 seems very low for your level of activity.. you will react to this by slowing metabolism... to lose 1 -2 pounds of fat a week you only need to maintain a calorie deficit of between 500 and 1000 calories lower than it takes to maintain your current weight. I suspect your current deficit is more like 1500 Cals... but I dont know .. you have to work out your BMR using a calculator and then use the Harris Benedict Formula to calculate how many calories you need to maintain your current weight.
