How many times a day do bodybuilders eat?
Answer:
It depends on the metabolism and what type of food they are eating and how much they eat in each serving.Frankly, I've trained thousands of people and only in a few rare cases - did I see the need for someone to eat more than 6 times a day.There were a few freaks that had metabolisms so extreme that they needed to wake up at a night and eat food to gain weight. But, those guys were the exception.The key to gaining weight is: electrically charged food. In other words, food that is LIVE and bioavailable. pros eat about 8 times a day. Most amateurs eat about 6
About 5 protein meals a day. They eat alot of cheese,tuna,chicken and protein shakes.
I have read a couple of biographies.. I recall 6 meals spread throughout the day is a pretty common regime.. some of those consist of protein shakes though.
6-9 depending on what you are trying to achive. Just remember that is not large meals like someone would have if they were eating 3 times a day. It is small very low fat like chicken and egg whites.
