How many hours of bike riding do i have to do to lose ten pounds?

It would take days to lose that much wait. Try riding your bike for an hour a day for at least 3 days a week.
Why just bike riding? Try some running or swimming which will def. help you drop those pounds. If you keep a low calories,carb,fat,sugar,diet and high protein such as fish and chicken diet you drop those problems with ease its harder than it sounds tho. But If you just wanna stick to biking ...bike everyday or everyother day intensely for 30 minutes to 1 hour.
But if you wanna go crazy like MMA fighters that have to lose weight in one day its just water weight so stick the bike in the sauna if possible and hit it. I suggest combining diet and exercise. Also diet books that talk about the 'glycemic index' of foods (like 'the zone') are the way to go imo. However, I do like to give direct answers to direct questions. So,I come up with about 73 hours. It is based on 3500 calories in 1 pound of fat. This web site(http://sparkpeople.com/resource/calories... says that a person weighing 130 pounds that cycles 12-13.9 mph will burn 480 calories per hour. (You can enter your own weight to refine the estimate.) 10 pounds x 3,500 calories = 35,000 calories
35,000 calories / 480 calories per hour = 72.9 hoursBased on my own personal experience, exercise will also have the added benefit of controlling the appetite. Best of luck.
